Letterkenny Skip Hire & Recycling is a family run business, centrally located in Letterkenny , we operate throughout the Donegal area. Since its establishment in 1981, the company has grown to become the largest skip hire provider throughout the NorthWest. With years of experience in serving the local and regional community we specialise in many areas of waste recovery and recycling.
Letterkenny Skip Hire & Recycling is one of the most progressive and environmentally conscious waste companies in Donegal. All activities will be consistent with EU and National Policy of Waste Management, prevention, recovery and recycling.
Letterkenny Skip Hire and Recycling hold all relevant permits. Our Waste Collection Permit no. WCP/DL/001/07 and Waste Transfer Station, permit no. ENV/143/WP 06-07. All waste material and recycables are taken to our materials recycling facility in Letterkenny where it is segregated , baled and forwarded to the appropriate destination. We are also a fully registered member of Repak.

FAQ
1.HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THE SKIP?
The skip hire is for 10 days but if you require it for longer please contact the office and let us know. Some additional charges may apply depending on required length of time.
2. WHEN DO YOU COLLECT THE SKIP?
The skip will be collected when you phone us to let us know you are finished with it. If haven’t contacted us after 10 days we may contact you to request the collection of the skip. Following your collection request we will normally carry out the collection within 3 days.
3. WHAT ITEMS CAN I PUT INTO A SKIP?
You can put all types of waste including building materials, soil, rubble, household rubbish, garden debris etc. You find find out more on our skip hire Donegal page.
4. WHAT ITEMS CAN I NOT PUT INTO A SKIP?
You cannot put, any paints, oils, car tyres, hazardous wastes, clinical wastes, animal/human remains or waste, chemical waste or asbestos substances into the skip. Please also ensure no hot items are placed in the skip as a fire or burning the skip will occur a €300 fine.
4. WHEN IS THE SKIP PAID FOR?
Payment is made prior to delivery by card, cash or cheque. Our drivers can also accept cash payment when completing the delivery. A map to our office can be found on our contact page.
5. HOW HIGH CAN I FILL MY SKIP?
Due to both insurance and safety reasons the skip can not be filled any higher than the top level of the skip.
6. DO YOU DELIVER SKIPS THROUGHOUT DONEGAL?
Letterkenny Skip Hire will deliver skips for hire throughout Donegal including Letterkenny, Ballybofey, Donegal Town, Buncrana, Dunfanaghy, Falcarragh, Gweedore, Dungloe and Lifford.
6. WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY SKIP?
We will generally try to deliver your skip by the end of the day following your order. This will depend on the skip size availability. On occasion we will be able to complete a same day delivery.
7. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE A SKIP?
